Lauren & Frank

Frank and Lauren have known each other for a long time. Frank is Stephan’s (Lauren’s older brother)  friend. However I guess one could say, they “met” at a high stakes Poker Night at Stephan’s house in Fishtown, featuring some of the risk taking high rollers they make movies about. Early on, Lauren lost of all her chips horribly fast, and Frank soon followed. So they had the rest of the night to hang out, just the two of them. They went on their first “official” date the next night, and went bowling, as in traditional first date fashion. You know, the kind of stuff kids raised in the 90s do. And now, 6 years and 1 day from that first date will they be getting married

On Sunday, December 16, 2012 Frank proposed to Lauren in Love Park, Philadelphia. Frank popped the question in front of all the tourists at the Love staute and of course, Lauren said yes!

Things to do in the Philadelphia

Philadelphia plays home to an astounding collection of museums, artistic venues and historical attractions. There’s the Liberty Bell, of course — plus amazing art installations, jazz venues, architectural landmarks and much more.

At night, Philadelphia is sizzling with activity — it’s an exciting, welcoming place to sip cocktails, hear live music and/or do your own thing.

Whether you’re dancing and dining in Old City, heading to a hipster hangout in South Philadelphia or catching a live jazz show in Northern Liberties, you are pretty much always guaranteed a great time. Everything is conveniently close together.
